I remain convinced that Sylvie is not a Loki variant. She repeatedly rejects every attempt to call her “Loki.”
My opinion, for what it’s worth is that she is a Loki (Asgard, adopted, princess, Jotun, etc) but she hasn’t learn yet how to shape shift. Just as Loki didn’t master enchantment yet.
She’s not Jotun according to some leaked picture. But it lists her as female, and still calls her “laufeyson” at the same time, so perhaps it’s flawed info.
The showrunners don't know how Norse names (or genders) work. Plus, no one in that show is a Loki. 😂

That’s why they didn’t realize Loki/Sylvie would be read by many people as incest. Bc they thought o fit like Gwen/Miles in Spiderverse even tho Gwen and Miles are totally different ppl who happen to occupy the same superhero role in their respective universes. “Loki” though is the name of a specific person. But the writers didn’t even get that.

Yeah, they clearly want to be Spiderverse, but the succusses of Spiderverse not just the film but all the different comic and cartoon versions is love for Spider-Man and all the different iterations. The core of a good crossover is seeing all your favorites interact with each other. But Loki2021 doesn’t care about Loki. It just wants to promote it new OC. I’d say Sylvie is the Silk but even Cindy dosen’t deserve such an insult.

Like they don’t seem to understand that the reason Miles/Gwen isn’t disgusting is because they fill the same role but they’re not the same person. The reason Thor/Jane as The Might Thor isn’t disgusting is because they fill the same role but they’re not the same person. If they had paired Tom!Peter with Toby!Peter or Andrew!Peter, it would be disgusting because they are the same person. They’re all Spider-Man’s but they’re also all Peter Parker’s. They have roughly the same backstories. They all had an Aunt May and an Uncle Ben and some variation of Mary Jane.
The same goes for the s*lki bullshit. If they had just made her Sylvie Lushton- a sorceress from earth (sort of)- who fills the role of the Goddess of Mischief in her timeline… problem solved! She’d still have the horns and the magic and the green and black, but no selfcest! Cause she’d fill the same role as Loki but would be a different person.
